3-pin BCD variations

So I yanked a set of Stronglight TSs off a Peugeot Corse last week and cleaned them up. Of course they look good and of course the inner chainring's sharktoothed. One of the other mechs had the Campy 3-pin crans right there in hand and I compared BCDs; they match, which is nice. Poking around on eBay I find that Nervar used 2 different BCDs, 120 and 122. Not a whole lot of information around on what rings interchange with 3-pin.

Any specialists out there with some ability to shed light on the situation? Are there any cool old Williams rings out there that might fit?

thanks,
Blight

Check the Campy-Stronglight fit, I read somewhere (here) that they are just different enough to be incompatible.

In searching for a 40-42T 3 pin chainring for a campy gran sport, i found this thread:

please let me know if you find a 116 BCD ring that you don't need

good luck with your project

That's very helpful! Are there more pages to that? I'm wondering about Williams C1000, C1200, Chater Lea, Allez....

BRILLIANT!!

Thank you so much. Will put out my needs on the local vintage-bike-parts network, and if I hit the Mother Lode, I will certainly share.
