Brooks Tool Kit Dimensions (Small Saddle Bags)
 

Does anyone have the dimensions of the smaller Brooks saddle bags? Their web site lists the dimensions for the larger bags but not the smaller ones. I've never seen them in person, so I'm not sure how big they are or what they can/can't hold.

I want a small one - something to hold a patch kit, a 26" spare tube and the few tools needed to remove the rear wheel in the event it needs patching. I want the Brooks black leather equivalent of the small, nylon under-seat packs sold at most LBS.

I never got any responses to these questions. Does anyone have the dimensions, or even photos of them installed on a seat as a size reference?

Thanks for the dimension of that kit. I've been looking for dimensions on the other two types. Everyone has the pictures but no one has the dimensions, not even Brooks.

Sorry, I wasn't looking to trade. I was ineptly commenting on what I perceive to be a high price for a leather tool bag. I'm also after one in black, as the bike has a black and chrome color scheme.

I spotted a roll-up bag in snarkypup's thread on the Creme fiasco. It's an Acorn bag. Does anyone have one of these. How do you like it? Has the black fabric faded or held its color? Is it too big, to small? Does it hold its shape over time when filled with junk?

Mikemills, I have both the Acorn tool roll and the Brooks bag. I bought the Brooks to hold a 26" tube, tire levers and a patch kit. It's so small the tube will not fit, but it looks cool. The Acorn tool roll on the other hand looks very cool, carries a tube, wrench, CO2, Tire levers and more! I like the Brooks but the Acorn is actually large enough to carry something, it hasn't faded, keeps it shape and just plain & simple works!
