Nishiki Prestige 1985 Value?

Hello all, I'm looking at a 1985 Nishiki Prestige, the seller has it listed at $250. Says its a 1985, but from what I've been reading 1985 Prestige should have the Tange2, whereas this one is just Tange. Can anyone shed some light on what value of this bike? Any idea if those sheels are 27in or 700cc?

Below are the images.

As much as I like the Nishiki Prestige, this one is not so hot. Bike is pretty dirty, tires don't match, lots of brake wear on the rims, not $250 condition. Stem is not original.

Tange label is pretty clear, it is Tange Infinity tubing, which was normal for this model, and pretty good.

Those are 27 inch wheels.

At the right price, assuming you do all of the work yourself on it, that could be a nice bike.

tange infinity is good stuff. I don't think it looks that dirty... tires don't match, but look 'ok'. not sure how to look for wear on the rims... so i cannot really comment there, but the front chain ring doesn't look very used. I don't think it too bad of a deal in a hot market and if it fits (at least in my market). the gold components look nice - even though i don't know anything about them (although suntour makes good stuff).

I looked at it in person today. The frame is actually very scratched up. Theres not one section of tubing that is not covered with small scratches and scuffs. I decided to pass on it. Hopefully another vintage bike will pop up soon =). Thanks for your input guys!
