Whoa. Aero Univega on eBay.

Never seen one of these before. I've only seen pictures of the Miyata version. If it were my size I'd be very tempted to bid on it. What do you guys think it will go for? The starting bid is already pretty high but I suspect it will sell well above that. Even with the paint issues I'd think it's pretty desirable.

On a side note, does anyone know what year it might be?

That's a hot bike. I love the bars.

Note "Brand: Colnago".

Same frameset in a more subdued color sold for $200 shipped last week.
The price and availability of ax stuff makes look like a fun and interesting build. But for the same intrigue I would rather do a 1st gen deore bike (also dyna-drive) as it wouldn't be an AX frame specifically.

Is the aero stuff done on that frame with Bondo or is it fillet brazed?

I believe it's brazed if it's the same as the Miyata frames.

I'm surprised the frameset went for so little but I suppose it's a challenge to find a seat post for one. I really like the ax stem on this one.
