I just picked up a second old Trek, a 1983 600. I haven't really cleaned it up yet, but it looks to be in near mint shape! Added new bar tape and a B17 today.

Mmm, so nice, and Trek had some really nice colors back then. I love my 560, which I believe has the same geometry as the 660, but lower end build and a downgrade in tubing. But I love mine to death, smooth smooth smooth silky frame.

Yesterday I ran into a guy in the hallway with an old Trek sweatshirt. It had the late 80s/early 90s logo and headbadge design. I mentioned to him that it was a cool sweatshirt- and he seemed very unaware of the "cool" factor of the old Trek SWAG.
