1992(or maybe 1993?) Trek 800 Antelope
Recently converted from 3x7 to 3x8
I'll probably be taking off the rear brake soon as I do not use it. Like AT ALL.
Also I'll probably be converting it to drop bars once I can get (the money to get) a bar, compatible brake lever, and caliper brake. Also a different stem, if needed.

I know I've posted these bikes before but I've changed a few things on the 500 and I'm bored.
1982 Trek 613 From original Ive added CR-18s, IRD 6 Speed Freewheel, Michelin World Tours, Gyes saddle & Bartape, I wish I could find front rack for it though.
1983 Trek 500 From original I've added Brooks B17, Shimano 600 Tricolor Pedals Sun M13s, Schwalbe H159 Whitewall and some Mother's polish.

The Elance I got for $150, with the most motley setup (it had mis-matched cranks), but the wheelset was actually usable (the Mavic 3D/Specialized hub setup), and the stem/bars/seatpost were stock and usable as well. +$250 for the victory group, and $100 to my LBS for labor and tape/cables/the used white turbo saddle, and I was GTG. So both were $500 bikes.
But as much as i feel like it's warranted, Treks are kind of becoming the new hotness, and getting a bit jacked up in $$$.

As my best friend put it I have finally joined the family. My N+1 is a Trek, and I think I found a beauty. I was patient and missed the opportunity once, but a fellow CV'er resold and I got my 1 of few grail bikes. I hope you like my 1983 Trek 700.

Made a couple of changes to my Trek today. Swapped out the 700x28c Rivendell Ruffy Tuffy tires for a set of 700x32c WTB All-Terrainasaurus. A bit heavier but very comfy and great for commuting. Also added a brass bell. Next in line is maybe a gear change and a long cage rear derailleur. The gearing is fine for now, but I can see the lower gearing coming in handy down the road.

A couple of hot rods
Two original survivors recently found their way into my garage. A 1983 Trek 640 with the original Campagnolo GS, and a 1984 Trek 770 with the original Campagnolo SR, and someone added a nice set of Mavic Open Pros on Ultegra hubs 
. Edit: Appears that the only thing missing is saddle on the 640, and the pedals/wheelset on the 770. Nice that the Cinelli bars/stems are still there.
I'm a touring bike guy, so I don't normally go in for "racers." I was *really shocked* at how quick the 770 is when I went out for ride. I have to pick my routes carefully here, though. Neither of these have what I'd call an "alpine" drive train! Anyway, pics below are as found. Edit: I hope the 770 will be going home with a new racer friend soon, for a complete "spa treatment!"
