When I was trying to find info on my 412 this was the one that would always come up.
1980 Trek 412. This was going to replace my 614, but I came across the 613 shortly afterwards, and this bike was sold.

As found. Just purchased a correct front wheel with Shimano 600 hub so as soon as the weather clears here, I can finally detail this bike.

Picked up this '89 330 this past December. Only had to swap out the tires in the past four weeks; rear went out at the end of April thanks to a chunk of glass, the front one I changed a few days ago due to a frayed spot on the sidewall.
Old tires, with seatpost rack:

New tires, with fenders, sans rack:

Just picked this up last weekend. I'm planning on making it my new urban bomber to replace my Miyata 210.
Based on the serial, it appears to be an '82 510.

March 1978 TX900 Work in Progress....
Hi all vintage Trek Folk:
I have finally pulled my Trek TX 900 off the wall and disassembled it to bring it back to life. This bike was my primary mode transportation in undergrad and grad school and it is very special to me. It has been with me for quite a while (purchased used in 1980 on the east side of Madison; I grew up on the west side). The vintagetrek.org web site suggests that it is a March 1978 build based on its serial # J3C8S37.
I have a period correct Campy Super Record Groupo that will be installed and will share some pictures later in the summer. Lots of touch up or a repaint.
Cheers,
KBugeli

Cool bike! Here's my 1986 Trek 700 Tri Series. This bike has been my primary bicycle for many years now, I have it set up for commuting and general urban road riding. I had fenders on it for a while but took them off because it never rains here and they kept getting hung up on in the light rail. It just wasn't worth it to have them on when precipitation is 0 for 6-8 months and minimal the rest of the time. It's all low-end Campagnolo 9-speed, most of it scrounged up from various LBS discount pile and from closeouts on Nashbar and ebay. Shifters are early campy 8-speed upgraded to 9-sped. Bar is a Titec cyclocross bar, I like it but it's a tiny bit too wide sometimes. I had 700cx28 tires on it for years, but just bought these 32s because I think more tires is a good thing...

Not the best pic......Trek 460 (entry level road racer), very crisp handling though bordering on twitchy if you aren't used to it, smooth shifting, incredibly responsive.
I call it, "Windrider"....

Here's my 78 TX700.
It's a great bike and I use it for commuting, brevets, and day rides.

The Drive Side is Within
My favorites are the brown finishes like cobrabyte's 613...

I built this up from the frame I bought so nothing is really original - 1987 Elance 400T. My camera is going so the color looks faded. It is not and the frame and paint are in pristine shape. Sweet riding bike.

1983 620 - More photos here - If it weren't so small, I would have kept it. It was fun to ride even if it was 2" too small for me.
