I never could get flickr to work either. Finally tried with photobucket and got that to work, but as mentioned, the ads are intollerable! I have no idea why photobucket worked for me but flickr didn't.
Photoshop will allow you to save images for the web which will allow you to reduce the size of the file to an acceptable level where it can be attached. Maybe other photo programs can do the same? I have struggled with all this for a year, only very recently figuring out the photoshop angle.

1985 Trek 500, in Beaujolais. All original, save for the pedals and saddle. I have a set of NIB SR SP-150 pedals to put on.
The paint is pretty beat up. I've contacted Joe Bell to see if he can work up some touch up paint. Pantone made a Beaujolais but I can't seem to find anyone that can match it or the paint on the bike.

If you poke the curvy arrow (the share button), one of the options for sharing will likely be BBCODE. Click that, then copy and paste the entire mess it displays, like so (spaces inserted strategically to show what the BBCODE looks like):
[ url=https://flic.kr/p/PBQtZh ][ img ]https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5572/3...25c4ffdc_c.jpg[ /img ][ /url ][ url=https://flic.kr/p/PBQtZh ]100_0174[ /url ] by [ url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/145411055@N06/ ]Saffrondey46[ /url ], on Flickr
This is also helpful if you want a link to the raw image URL for inserting into email messages and other non-forum places (the .jpg URL).

You found $250 in cash? A la Easy Rider?

For everybody interested - Hetres do fit without dimpling the chainstays, but only when fit on narrow-ish rims (velocity a23's)

Here's my '83 620. Currently shod in Compass 35mm BonJon Pass tires.
First ride today was a commute at ~45 degrees. Fast and quick to accelerate. I'm in love.

Well I guess technically this isn't mine anymore. Just sold it today. But here's the Trek 560 Pro Series I used to have. This was a fast ride but just got lost in the shuffle with my other bikes. And it was not well suited to the rough chipseal roads I normally ride on. Sold it for $250 to a local lady getting into riding. I picked it up in rough shape, swapped on a wheelset, cassette and tires, rewrapped the bars, added the Rolls saddle, tuned it up, cleaned it up, and did some rough outlining of the lugs. Lots of interest and sold the day after I listed it. I'm sure I could have gotten more but it's nice to move a bike onto someone who will appreciate it.

Oh and this had been upgraded to Dura Ace for the most part, indexing 7-speed. I think someone got a good bike!

I'm impressed you fit those tires! How are you liking them? They don't look to be that much larger than the 32mm Stampede Pass--did you have any clearance issues?
