Just picked this up yesterday. Had a 560 years ago that was a size too small, so had to grab this up when I saw it on Facebook.

Thank ya, sir!
It sure does! Fun ride, just much different than the rest having a fairly long wheel base.
That appears to be in great shape, enjoy!!

My TX700 should have the same geometry as your bike- it would be pretty much 'in between' the 47 and 42.5 cm chainstay bikes in my stable- but the TX700 is in the project queue- with a sizable load of stuff in front of it right now.

Was this local? And not on CL, evidently. Dang, if only typing "face" followed by "book" without a space in between didn't make be break out in hives, that beauty might well have ended up on my stand..... Awesome score.

Thanks again for that. Adding them to my archive on this one.
You really did a nice job on it! BTW I've got another one of these in the works, but this one is my size! I'll likely do the same fantastic color.

That bike is amazing - and cool comparison with a modern Trek! I still can’t get over that powder coat - stunning!

Not sure about the last pic, think it's just a weird reflection.

This is my recently acquired 1990 Trek Multitrack 750. Only problem is it's too minty and I don't want to ride it.

The Multitracks are an under-appreciated bike that can be updated for various styles or left as-is - lots of room for big tires - eyelets for fenders, racks, etc., good brakes with a post spacing that allows for updating if desired - and a good, steel frame. I have a Tru Temper framed Trek and it is a nice ride.
Enjoy.

I have a '91 750 True Temper bare frame (58cm C2C seat & top tube) that weighs 5.18 lbs.
That's the same as a similarly-sized Tenax-tubed '88 Schwinn Super Sport.

Kickstand
!
Yeah, "minty" is an understatement. I have a lugged 730 and a tigged 750 from around that era. Both in great running shape but neither as fresh as yours. Both are awesome to ride. It's fun, when a younger person comments on one, I tell them it was built just down the interstate, their uncle might've worked on it.
These and the Mississippi Schwinns -- hang on to every one you've got, they're a looking-glass into American industrial history.
