Looks to be a few non road Treks here. My 1990 750 that I recently built back up as a city/bike path cruiser. Only stock parts remaining are the fork and frame.

My Trek frankenbike that I use as a commuter. 1986 Trek 500 Tri-Series frame that my brother bought from someone in Chicago, rode for a few years, and gave to me. It had been repainted at a bodyshop in a deep blue metallic (I think my brother said it was Imron). He built this up from his parts box using Campy Veloce compact cranks and BB, Shimano derailleurs (front is a deerhead I think), rear was a Crane. This had 1st gen DA brakes on it which I replaced with some Tektro DP I had. Kept the Suntour Superbe levers/hoods. Currently has a set of wheels from my Raleigh while I rebuild the wheels that were on it. Those are Mavic MA2 rims, DT spokes, and relaced to a pair of Campy NR hubs. Avocet Cross 32 tires, Bluemels fenders (I think), Salsa stem, not sure what the bars are. Since the crankset is a 50/34, the Crane didn't seem to handle the small small combo so I put a Suntour Cyclone GT I had on it. Campy NR shift levers. Campy aero seat post (goes well with the fenders ) and Squadra saddle. So

I may hunt down a headbadge and the decals for this; maybe not.

Trek 1100, bought from original owner with original tires still on it. I tried riding it but it is too small, so off it goes to a new owner (after I installed new tires/tubes...)

That's a good lookin' bike. I thought about repainting mine and leaving the decals off. I do like the headbadge, though.

Was your frame repainted? Curious as I have never seen a TX with a color wrap decal or painted head tube.

Strange since they did not have the color wrap decal on bikes until '81. Cool frame though. I have a TX700 and would like to one day add a TX900 to the fleet.

Here's my 1989 Trek 400, bought new off the factory floor. It's been my 2nd bike since about 2000 but I've loaned it out a lot over the years and I always keep it tuned just in case.
The other day my neighbor asked if he could ride in my small group this Saturday, so I took the 400 out and rode 30 miles today. Wow, what a nice ride. I'm having 2nd thoughts about that 2nd bike thing...

Nice. I could tell it was a Columbus tubed frame by the fast back seat stays, but the paint job was throwing me off.

Here's one of our twicers, a 1993 T200. We bought it about July 2012 and took delivery in early 2013. It was quite different from the catalogue specs although I don't think the PO had made changes since new. Full story on the tandem thread here at BF - search on T200 - quite a saga.

We added the bar-end shifters (7sp), SKS mudguards, new 105 front mech, Thudbuster for the stoker, updated handlebars front an rear and new Tektro brake levers. Since this photo has been taken we've swapped out the captain's stem for a Nitto adaptor (tricky business getting 1&1/4 stems these days) and a front-loading a-head stem which fits me a bit better. Plus SPDs for the captain.

Compared to modern tandems it's heavy (20kg) and not real stiff, but it suits us for now and we love it.



So far about 400km on this machine in this family, the later part of winter here in the Great Southern has been v wet (record levels) and v windy, so opportunities to ride have been limited.

did a 30 mile shakedown ride this weekend. Finalizing everything this week and doing a bike camping weekend in a couple weeks with it. 1985 Trek 420 converted to 44x18 single speed.
