My three Treks.
Simple arithmetic, 400 + 400 = 800, right?
The 800 was bought from a druggie's widow; it has been brushed with house paint and retains its ratty saddle so it can be overlooked as a beater while occasionally locked up at the train station.
Great rides all.

1984 Trek 620 that I found at a garage sale for $65. Finished it a couple weeks ago, and it's now my daily commuter until the snow comes. It is the nicest riding bike I have ever owned.

I haven't gotten to any of the ones that I see north of the city- only thing I've ridden has been the Hank Aaron.

Thanks! I ride the Oak Leaf trail on the west side of the city everyday on my commute. The one north of the city that connect with the Ozaukee Interurban I've ridden quite a few times, the longest trip was all the way up to just south of Oostburg.

1985 Trek 620 and 600
The 620 is for commuting and long distance riding with the 600 for cruising. The 620 is in the middle of a wheel build with only the front done (Shutter Precision dynohub/Velocity Dyad). The 600 has a 650b conversion and float on its Compass Grand Bois Leirre tires. Both are wired so I can easily swap the Supernova headlight. The 600 has a Son dynamo.

This 85' 520 was a thrift store find. The seat post was hopelessly stuck, I had to use lye to remove it, ruining the paint in the process 
The original wheels were replaced with 7sp Tri color, with Matrix hoops. The stem was also changed to a tall Nitto. In the end I gave the frame set to my youngest brother, as I prefer a taller frame.

New arrival! 1987 USA made Trek 520 Cirrus frame and fork. Needs a little TLC but will leave the paint original. Missing a headbadge (anyone have an extra?).
Almost have enough spare parts to build as an older tour rig, early Blackburn rack, triple Sugino, 5 speed cog (half step) and all Suntour Cyclone, Schwinn branded bar-end shifters, wide 700c rim clincher. If possible to get the chain wrap I might play around with the cogs and go 6 speed Mega-range.
Will need a cantilever brake set and front lowrider rack.

'77 710 frameset built up with my ideal mix of new and old. Most recent addition is the Sugino triple double from Rivendell mated to a 12-25 9sp Ultegra cassette. With enough bottom end for long, steep climbs, I plan to spend the SoCal winter exploring Angeles National Forest roads.

Took my 1984 Trek 610 out for a 30 mile recently; it handles great and I like the IRC 700 x 30c tires a lot.

Finished a couple bikes in the last few weeks.
First, a 1981 Trek 614 (24"). Bought it pretty original and turned into an upright townie/commuter bike to avoid overlap with my other bikes. Swapped to a triple crank so I could use it to tow my kids in a Burley trailer. The bars are Soma Oxford, basically a copy of Nitto Albatross. Not really a fan of the bars so far. I am not used to sitting so upright. Might try some moustache bars soon.

'85 Trek 760 that I got from BF member sloar as a bare frame. Did some touch-up on it and from 5 feet it looks pretty good. Components are all Shimano 105 from 1987, but in really, really great shape cosmetically and mechanically. One size too small for me so it will wind up on the block, but so much fun to build a bike with such an awesome frame!
whats the size has it hit the block yet?
