Thanks man, I appreciate it. I am thinking about going back to no aero bars. I feel it compliments the bike more and looks more period correct. Did it come with non aero bars from the factory? I believe its an 81 or 82 610

When you say "aero bars" are you taking about the brake lever cable routing? If that's the case, yes, it would have come from the factory with non-aero brake levers. The ones pictured in the photos look nice and clean, but if you had to be period correct, they should be non-aero, i.e. cables exposed.

Best way is to host the pictures at a free hosting site like Flickr, Google Drive or Photobucket.

Then link to the pictures there.

IMO- Photobucket's ads make it really difficult to use the site on a computer.

Photobucket is horrible, for sure. If you have a gmail (Google) account, you have Drive or Google Photos, right there to use, free, no ads. (But then I browse with uBlock Origin)

Flickr is nice, better interface for sharing photos, I think. But it also inserts ads into the photo slides, at least for me, a non-member of flickr. Does that happen if you have a flickr account?

I switched over to my rain/winter bike already. I brought my Trek 1.1 inside to the man cave for new consumables and a good going over. It's a 2014 with 3700 miles on it. But it looks like new.

Wow.

That's a really special bike- and it's exceptionally beautiful too.

I think it's interesting to see what was changed out on it- and what it was changed with. The Superbe RD with Bullseye pulleys, the Guerciotti pantographed brake levers... I think that looks like Hunt/Wilde tape...

Enjoy the bike and take more pix of it!

That full Columbus Trek is very nice. I have the 910 and it's very unlikely I'd ever sell it.
I've never seen, in person, any of the earliest Treks.

Second the Photobucket sentiment. I was just wondering if I was the only one who had trouble with Photobucket. It is so bad that I don't even bother to look at photos uploaded with Photobucket and I love looking at bike pictures!
