Dude- some bull moose bars and some M700 deer head components would totally rule on that thing!

Looks very similar to my 1982 710 frame. I think just about the last year for TREK's low temp silver brazed lugs?

Is that a Stronglight 99 on the TX 900? Love those 86 BCD cranks. Beautiful bikes, all of them!

Yes, it's a stronglight 99. I don't need it around Des Moines but there are some great hilly rides in WI and MN so I run a compact (47/34) on the bike. I'm a big fan of the 86 bcd cranks for a vintage bike as well. The Trek 510 is as found in the "wild" as I haven't rebuilt it yet; it came with a SR 86 bcd crank.

1989 Trek 1000 that we spiffed up for my pastor friend to do his first STP double century on. He complained about road bike saddles being too narrow and hard, so we fixed it for him.

It's not the hardness that's the problem. It's the splinters...

After a few good laughs at his expense, we had mercy and fitted a proper Planet Bike ARS cushy saddle.

More refinished Trek steel from the Powdercoat Man. This one is a '94 720 Multitrack for Mrs. Hudson.

Hello Hudson308,
Nice job on the 720, I am thinking about getting a 720 done myself. Is it local business only or would he take shipping to and from.
I am in Milwaukee if it matters.
