cesafacamah 05-12-11 02:01 AM

cesafacamah 05-12-11 05:49 AM

i don't have better photos, the bike is a "possible" from a guy abroad, and i want ti see if it's worth it.

cesafacamah 05-12-11 10:47 AM

The stem is an easy fix.......

cesafacamah 05-12-11 11:13 AM

i meant the model of the paletti
the stem was a 3ttt, pantographed paletti, probably

Talus 05-12-11 12:16 PM

Here's a pic of my 84ish Super Prestige if it helps at all.

a nice guy from paletti answered, paletti record 1990-91

Talus 05-13-11 02:28 PM

I wish I spoke Italian...

cesafacamah 05-20-11 03:00 AM

ok, the bicycle is on it's way
now i have to find a 3ttt paletti stem
any clues?
ebay doesn't blink on this one

Talus 05-23-11 01:05 PM

I've seen pantographed stems come up once or twice, but they went for big money.

cesafacamah 05-30-11 03:30 AM

my bicycle is here, she's lovely, small rusted points, but i will corect them

Talus 05-30-11 04:41 AM

How about some pics?

cesafacamah 06-09-11 12:42 AM

i will post these days
i don't like the fork at all, looks thick
the bike is kinda heavy
i think the frame itself isn't the sexiest thing, but the group is treasure
i think i will look for a straight chromed fork

realestvin7 06-09-11 12:47 AM

In for pics.

sorry for the quality of the photos, the light wasn't enough
i am thinking to sell it, because the frame is dissapointingly heavy for my expectancies. the group is divine though. and i can't broke it into pieces to keep what i need, that's blasphemic. i also have a black 3ttt stem(not pantographed though) that would suit the body.

Where did u scored this??? I've never been so lucky to get something like this for cheap.

There is a guy in the area that has one full C but the tubing is like gilco, wish had the money to buy it :/

Nice bike man :)

Picchio Special 06-11-11 07:24 AM

Have you ridden it? Because deciding not to keep it because it's too heavy without checking out the ride first doesn't make a ton of sense.

cesafacamah 06-11-11 07:56 AM

the ride is nice, never had a group so good, but the frame is kind of thick and bulky(i can feel it when i am taking the stairs to my apartment):)
i will make some fine tunings, i will change the stem and i will see
i'm tempted by the price i could get on it and by the fact that a friend of mine could help me buy a nice steel that would satisfy me perfect, again, on a good price.

Sell it if you will, but it may be difficult to beat this one for character, details, and performance.

Low weight can cost "big-time" if you aren't careful.

I'd stop worrying about the weight and ride the bike for a season before you give up.

cesafacamah 06-12-11 05:43 AM

thanks for the advice, sounded from the heart:)
i found on a local forum and bought a 3ttt black stem, very similar to the original 3ttt pantographed paletti, and i will change it soon

cesafacamah 07-08-11 02:29 AM

although the frame is columbus EL, the bicycle seams to be very heavy. this is very strange. i will find the weight. the fork seams very bulky and heavy

cesafacamah 12-02-11 04:59 AM

anyone interested in buying this italian?
