Are these hubs anything special?
Acquired these Sturmey Archer hubs from a friend. Stuff like this is always cool to have around. I couldn't find much info on them.

I don't think they're especially special. I agree they're cool, and I'd love to have a front one like that to pair with a SA rear hub, the kind with the gears in it. I'm guessing they're from an early 70's Raleigh Record or Sprite; a couple years later the same bikes came with Normandy hubs.
