It's nearly finished! 1983 Torelli Express

Bought this frame with a rough paintjob used for 100$. Groupset is Shimano 600ex from a 1986 Cannondale sr500 I bought at goodwill for 30$ . I had the frame powdercoated and I'm currently figuring out the process of applying a set of original Torelli decals (Thanks Drilliumdude!) I say nearly finished because I still need to attain a set of clipless pedals and shoes. There's also a small issue with the chain skipping when I'm mashing in the low gears, I may need a new freewheel... Aside from that the bike rides like an absolute dream. This was also my first experience with building wheels. Was a great learning experience, but let me say I dont look forward to having to do it again anytime too soon!

nice looking bike. I hope yu get the decals on OK then it will be really cool. I always thought Torellis were nice bikes esp when you could get a SL frame for almost $100 or more less than a 10spd Drive import Geurcotti.

the house looks nice too. is that a huge stack of lumber?
