I've always wanted a sword.

I'm after a road bike in trade for a Paul Chen Golden Oriole Katana Samurai sword. A $ 700.00 value in like new condition. http://images.craigslist.org/3n73oa3...d48c6714ef.jpg |
How about a bike with a picture of a sword on it?

I wish I had a Shogun Katana to trade him.
|
I'd definitely mount a sword on my bike. I don't know if they make frame mounts though.

Paul Components sword.

I have a Mameluke sword (a gift) and the proper Marine Staff NCO sword.
I try not to handle them, so I don't hurt myself. Learning sword drill was a major PITA. |

I've seen one with a structure to hold a sword along the fork as well, but can't seem to find it in google... |

Now someone needs to build bike with the top tube being the barrel. You could get some aero bars and then put the trigger on the end.
The more you think about the the more awesome it becomes. |

You could make it into a .22 and use this ammo.
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM066-5.html I like the description "Powerful and silent, great for use in urban areas". :) |
Getting creepy around here... but in an interesting way!
|
I live in a more rural setting, I have chased dear on my bike. I hate them, almost every week I almost hit one...

I like my Ginzu better.
Made by some guy who sprays rattlecan on his scalp. |

Cool story bro.
Sorry, someone had to say it. I was not a Marine officer, but one that was getting out gave me his sword. The Marine staff NCO sword is plainer, and is only used for ceremonies and parades. I was a staff NCO, and it was a PITA. Drilling (marching, etc) with a sword is part of Marine officer and staff NCO training that is archaic and I've never figured out a use for. I suppose it looks good on the TV commercials, but doing it precisely takes a ton of practice time that I always thought was better used chasing fun. I'm pretty sure the Army has a sword, I've heard that soldier's play with their swords a lot.... As far as a weapon, I'm not sure mine would cut butter, and it's very hard to run with. |

Hattori Hanzo or nothing. |
Steel is real! I used to ride a Gazelle 3 speed with an epee strapped to the top tube back in my fencing days in high school. Never used int in anger though :) these days I only carry a swiss army knife for the pick-nick en route.
