Here are some pictures of my recently completed (like last night!) pics of my new AHH. I have been slowly working on this bike for about 2 months, mostly in the late evening, as I am knee deep in some other home renovations. I figured while a coat of paint was drying, I would shoot a couple of pictures... Enjoy!

Very Nice! Can't wait to see it in person. All you need know is some wool knickers and a Gorton's fishermans hat and you'll fit right in to the cult.....

Beautiful! I was in Harris Cyclery last weekend and saw an orange Hillborne (I think). It was a beauty. But I've felt that way about every Riv I've seen.

Love it! Can't wait to check it out on Wednesday. I guess I'll need to ride my Lotus to fit in with the Riv look

I don't know what's wrong with me. I've had a thing for that Lugged Stem ever since Riv first put it up on their site....i'd even considered dropping the significant bones on it. This build was the first time I've ever actually seen it on a bike.

I'm almost embarrassed to say...I like it better on the shelf.

Someone posted a bike with that stem here about a year ago. I think it was a mountain bike, but I cannot remember who it was.

Very nice. I don't know if red tape was the obvious choice but it really looks good.

I am not sold on it 100% either. It is a bit pretentious but I snagged it on ebay well below retail, so I figured I would give it a shot

Honjo La Paeon(?) They went on easy and I did not like the last set of VO Fenders I got. Very floppy, YMMV.

Thanks all for the general kindness. I know how Rivendell threads can go around here.....

Anyway, the frame, bb, Mark's Rack and tape were purchased from Rivendell. The fenders from VO and everything else was in house, ebay or CL. This bike was sent to Rivendell from Waterford painted the wrong color. I had originally asked for it to be a bronze green but it came in it's current color instead, "Grilver" (Silver/Gray). The folks at Riv were mighty embarrassed and offered to repaint it any color I wanted. I thought about it for a couple of days and decided to keep it as is. They gave me a good discount, so everyone was happy.

The Mark's rack is actually Mark's rack. They were out of this model and with the disaster in Japan, it was going to be a while before the next shipment arrived. Mark from Rivendell took the rack off of his bike and for very little money, sent it on its way. All round nice folks. I am looking forward to putting some miles on it soon and will be able to give some honest feedback.

My first impressions are that it rides much like my P-15 Paramount, if it went on a weight loss program. It was the feel I was hoping for so, so far so good.

Nice bike. I actually like this shade of grilver, has a nice friendly look to it.

I'm actually awaiting my own custom painted A.H.H....

Although if they mess up on black, they'll have a seriously nonplussed customer.
