Huffy tandem question

We bought a Huffy tandem yesterday from a friend in my running club. We were at a picnic and touring his beautiful yard. There this bike was leaning in the back of his shed. We went and dug it out and he says "take it, we never ride it anymore". Well, ended up giving him some money and carted it home. Hope to have some pix soon but not yet. Anyway, it's been repainted but the chainguard looks kind of like it's a Daisy Daisy. It's a single speed coaster brake. It's got some real unusual tubes in the frame and the stokers bars use a regular quill stem inserted into a separate tube. Does this give anybody any ideas about it's age? I think it looks like a 60's model but we couldn't find any pix like it. Any help appreciated.

Can't tell you anything specfic about the bike. I've dealt with coaster brakes on tendems in a rental busniess, and the rear axles break easily.

Thanks, that's something to keep an eye open for. I doubt it's going to see any hard use at this point. More of a parade bike.
