Raleigh International ID ? from the 80es ?

Hello All

Can someone ID this specific Raleigh Intl' ?

Looks like the wheels are poor quality replacements... cranks look like late Ofmega. Raleigh typeface hints at the 80es...

Any ideas on the tubing ?

In the eighties, companies like CCM and Raleigh tried to capitalize on earlier names. In the case of the CCM, the eighties Tour du Canada is a far cry from the top dog TdC of the seventies.

So too, is the eighties Raleigh International grossly sub-standard when compared to its seventies counter part.

The bike is an eighties Raleigh International, but my guess is that is was not built in England at the Worksop factory. Rather, the bike is just a prettied up entry level recreational road bicycle that might have been built in Canada, the US or even somewhere in Asia. Sorry, but I do not have any pics of the eighties International. But I do have a few of the POS eighties EEM Tour du Canada...

Hope that is a help and hope I am correct.

Thanks for all the answers. Indeed it's a canadian raleigh. Anyway it's far more cool-looking than the late TdC so I'm going to get it for a friend who needs a beater.
