Is there such a thing? Shimano 600 (80's) Triple crank?

Just wondering if they make these. If so, are they rare.

I don't think they made one then. most upper end shimano equipped triple bikes used a Deore crank until RX100 came along

if you saw one it may have just had a triplizer ring of some type on it.

yes. it is standard on a 1985 trek 520. it doesn't say "600" on the crank, but the model has been designated as a shimano 600.

You're looking for an FC-6206.

Yes, there was a Shimano 600 triple.

I have a 15-speed '85 Trek 520, and it did come with a Shimano "600" triple. I also have a Shimano "600" double that came as part of an "Arabesque" 600 gruppo from about 1983. They are quite nice.

I wouldn't mind one of those...

Yes, it came in my 83ish ROSS Super Gran Tour...very nice, kept the group...

If you don't mind a 38T lower limit on the granny, you can use long stack bolts to make any 130mm BCD double into a triple.

the fc-b124 isn't 600 but is a very nice triple crank :) it looks almost identical to the fc-6206 from the pics on velospace
