Fork's bent.

Zaphod Beeblebrox 06-16-11 01:39 PM

Damn hipsters and their flat bars.

I love the world champion stripes on the fork.

How cool would that be with some bent wood drop bars :)

Bike Snobs, how do they get started. My daughter is 2 in september and my wife would kill me if I do that to her toy.

Was it made in Taiwan?

Missing tires.

Funny thing is that I was JUST looking at balance bikes tonight and recognize that one (ZÜM)....

I think I am going with a Strider though. Found a green one locally for a great price.

So should I buy Pinarello stickers online and slap 'em on and post here?!?

mapleleafs-13 06-16-11 08:12 PM

i think it's one of the newer style bikes though, the top tube slopes down, it's not a c&V, this may be the wrong forum.

:D:p:p:p

repechage 06-16-11 09:35 PM

I don't know what to say. I was hoping to see a junior sized lugged bike with "24"" tubulars.

coz52 06-16-11 09:39 PM

How about a shot from the drive side.

gomango 06-16-11 09:42 PM

Both of our kids started on balance bikes.

I should have known better, as they immediately started careening around the living room when they opened the packages.

Now that they are in high school and middle school, I saw this today and just for a moment remembered those days as if they were yesterday.

So no attempt at snobbery, just a nice memory of our little boys. :)

You're a GREAT parent. I wish I had introduced my son to beautiful Italian cycling finery at a young age. I failed him in that regard.

I am sure you were a great dad.

It is fun nowadays going for rides with the whole family.

To be sure, our boys prefer their mountain bikes to their road bikes.

I couldn't care what they ride, as long as they aren't sitting in front of a tv playing video games!

Very true. I agree 100%.

Italuminium 06-17-11 05:55 AM

My first bike had ninja turtle stickers all over it, I probably prefered those back in the day to campy decals :)

Gomango...that has taste, style, beauty...I'm in love.

Wildwood 06-17-11 10:51 AM

didn't anyone notice the Cinelli seatpost, I can't make out the stem.

noglider 06-17-11 11:50 AM

I think the grips might be TTT.

Buglady 06-30-11 12:44 PM

LOL, too funny! I'm hunting for my nephew's first bike - he turns 2 in a couple of weeks, is tall for his age, and already yells "BIKE!!" with great joy whenever he sees a cyclist or a picture of a bike. (My sister accused him of sucking up to his bike-obsessed Auntie Bug when he settled happily down to "read" my Zinn manual, lol)

Anyway, I was searching he forums for reviews, ideas, etc and got a good laugh out of this one. Thanks!!

No problem!

I thought it was cute, and I am about to be an uncle again, so of course I have a very important job to do.

Find toys!!!!!!

..and this one will get them sucked into biking hopefully. :)
