Shimano Biopace
I have used a Shimano Biopace crank for tourning for lots of years.
I just started to pay attention to bike reports and have heard they got a bad rap.
I do not race - but tend to ride long distances at a slower pace (25-28 kph) and a slower cadence.
Should I replace the chainwheels?

BioPace comment is Biosed.
A lot of older cyclists with not-so-good knees prefer it.
Some bike messengers like it because without clip-ins, they feel they get the most out of their revs.
I think each to his own. If you like it, no problem. If you don't, no problem.
It certainly wasn't some kind of gimmick or anything.
I've had both, and never really could tell much difference until about 30 miles into a ride.
Still, no preference either way, as far as I'm concerned.
And welcome to the forum. Glad to have you around.
