I recently picked up what I think is an ALPS or Toei but I can't be sure yet. Anyone have pics of their 650b Randonneur to help with the ID? I am also looking for inspiration so other makes are ok too.

Much too chunky lugwork to be a Toei or anything high end, but this site might be helpful:

Thats what I was thinking. It has pretty nice bocama lugs on it but a few things just look cheap. It had some nice old mountain bike stuff on it though which I used on another project so I definitely got my moneys worth. The fork tubing is ishiwata so it's definitely not junk. Should be a fun build overall and Im interested to ride a 650 bike.

For the seat stays caps, not TOEI, for the pump pegs, not ALPS.

I have a TOEI and 2 ALPS, if you would like to see detail of those area, I could post the pics for you.

Cheers,
PoP

Looks like you found a fun project. I think it will build up nicely. Would be curious to know what kind of bike it is. Whatever it is, all that really matters is that it rides well for you and that you enjoy it. Here's a couple links:

Do some searches. Google is your friend.
