70s English Colours
Hi,
Just got my wife's 80 Collegiate 3 back on the road and happened on a 72 Raleigh/Hercules three speed. which after replacing a front tire, runs well. There is however some rust and age damage to the color. I know it amounts to a bottom of the line Raleigh but it is a really solid bike so I might work a restoration just for fun.
Does anybody have a color/colour match for the 70s Bronze Green? and any advice on pin striping mudguards?

Automotive touch up paints should be able to match the frame color fairly easily. Pin striping can be done with oil based paint pens and good quality painters tap masking the edges. Lug work is actually easier to outline freehand. Also check out:
