I don't have a cat (allergic) but yesterday this dude hung out with me outside of the barn while I worked on my Superior. It was there all day and didn't mind being petted...

That's an awesome pic. I love toads. This one looks like he's gotten his share of worms! I remember once in a rainstorm in Taiwan, I saw one on our bridge and he'd eaten so many worms he couldn't get his feet to touch the ground because his stomach was so big, so he was kicking on the spot. It was pretty funny.

70s Japanese anodizing. Working on my World Voyageur. Not bad for an unedited cell phone pic.

Moar bike pix:
What could be more vintage than tire savers (lovingly constructed by a BF member)?

Sure to polarize this crowd:

Holiest of hole-ies:

Proof that I do ride them:

Sorry, I'm fresh out of red bikes at the moment!

How to give new life to trashed Campy Superleggeri/Super Record road pedals:

Remove black anodizing, cut off scraped-up/bent quills. Finesse cuts into Pista-shapes, drill and polish. Garnish with orange enamel and serve with genuine Campy grease. One bike per serving.

Taken this morning on Game-Farm Road. This place was more regular farm, but up the road they raise game for hunting.

That's funny - I ride on Game Farm Rd several times a week. Only it's in central Washington state.

All the work was done by hand with hand tools. I use a hacksaw with super thin, very fragile blades to connect the holes. Then I hand file the straight lines to get a perfect line. Well I guess I use a power drill to drill out the holes first, so not all by hand.
Wet sand, then hand polish.
Next I'll do an infill color, undecided at this point.
