Made a portrait of my pup, Jasper, this morning. Pancake is a challenging but rewarding medium to work in.

New Years Eve moonlight XC ski. Not bad for a 3 second exposure, cold bare fingers, and no tripod! I give myself a small pat on the back for this shot

Encouraged by others, my $15 Cimmaron LE garage sale find, plus a quick drop bar conversion, meets the main road above the lodge at Zion National Park. 19 degrees, this was a cold ride for this old guy.

We go to Zion at least once a year for the past 30 years. Its a special place. I was there this summer, 100F plus temps, camping with my motorcycle.

I'm really liking drop bar conversions. I'll be putting slicks on this bike.

Missed riding today as I was too busy in the kitchen making dinner...

Been thinking about a shop cat for a couple of months but never did anything about it. This guy found me last night. My brother-in-law had seen him hanging out the past couple of days. Someone probably dumped him. Super nice and clearly been domesticated and litterbox trained. Loves being around people. He's feeling quite at home around the bikes here in my office - so I guess I've got my shop cat.

I've had cats all my life and by far the best ones were those who picked me, not the other way around. I had to put my last one down a few months back and I'm waiting for him to show back up again in new colors.
