Weather has been good today and perfect for riding. Went and grabbed my next project from storage then went on a nice little ride.

Then I hit a fork in the road and decided to head home

Perfect day for a ride! With the wind gusts you get an hours ride in just 20 minutes! Steady 20mph with gusts up to 30-40mph!

After almost 2 weeks the fog has lifted a little - still around 20 degrees F so I might get a short ride in this afternoon. A couple of shots of my brother-in-laws cheap mtb hanging on my back porch.

I work in the smartphone (service) biz, so I found this pretty funny.

Managed to watch todays stage of the TDU from the king of the mountain finish, overall winner was Thomas Geraint.

Some pic's
Retro kid couldn't ride the king of the mountain!

Even the cops were retro.

It was slightly crowded before the riders came through.

This was the scene of spectators leaving later, most people ride to the stages.

Thanks! This bike has been a nightmare from the start. The seat and stem were stuck, now the crank dust caps are frozen along with some of the cables. Its gonna be a nice one though.

From last night's ride. Note the anachronistic neon advertising an ATM. (The sign is classic, but not vintage )

I got to work on something special yesterday.
Swapping out a set of Deltas, for a set of CNC-ed sidepulls, for a decked out SoftRide.
Note the Mavic electronic shifting package.

My greyhound, Waffle. She's a princess and likes two mattresses at once.

In sadder news, here's a picture of my mother on her death bed. I took it on Wednesday night. She's still alive, just to be clear, but she's fading away, not very cognitive any more.
