I just replaced the tires on my daily driver 1981 Lotus Odyssey. The workstand is in my foyer, it's my temporary workspace for the summer.

Awesome pics, people.

I (actually my dad) removed a U-lock today the 2nd easiest way. The easiest way, a key, had been lost and the lock never registered with Kryptonite.

Here's a video for the fire bugs.

Haha. His homemade saw horse? He has a half dozen of different types. Most as old as I am. He's a handy guy. There's little he cannot fix or modify.

nice! Everything about that pic screams Kentucky to me. Torches, Internationals, hand made work racks, pickup trucks, cutoff jean shorts with white socks and sneakers..

one time I cut a Jeep CJ body in half with one of those things. It cut it like butter, much better than the time I did it with a grinding wheel.

Here's some quick vids from last week, taken along the Johnstown bike path between Jonhnstown and NewarK, Ohio. I think the one my wife made is priceless!

Bike info: My wife is riding her beloved 1971 Schwinn Suburban, purchased at a garage sale about 15 years ago for $10. I'm riding some off-brand lightweight--BCAmerica, purchased at a garage sale last summer for $35. It came with a brand new Brooks Professional saddle--wacky!

Moo!

Crossroad:

At the Granville Inn, sweating profusely before the ride even started:

A couple shots from today's ride with my wife to Sonic. This morning we had the first rain we've had in over a month.

Waiting for the food.

Beautiful shots of a beautiful MUP - thanks!

And that last pic is awesome: knee brace on and still game to get out on the bike. Bravo Zulu to you, sir!

Can get a little windy at times in Ellensburg but, aside from that, some beautiful scenery to ride through out here.

Tell me, what's the hip sock color to wear with sneakers? I thought it was always white, but I tend to wear black socks anyway.

Good question Tom. I'm really not sure. I am pretty sure it's not black though. I rarely wear sneakers, and when I do it usually means I'm jogging, and in that case I'm wearing white socks but they only come up below the ankle so you can't see them anyway.

Personally I'd stay away from black socks with white sneakers, or really any sock with sneakers that comes up higher than about your ankle. Or just do like most middle age and older guys do and dress like your wife didnt lay your clothes out for you that day

Ok - we'll have to meet up for a ride. That's a sweet looking bike. I was out for 33 in that 20+ mph wind yesterday and was shot by the time I got home.

Thanks Tom! Yes I made it based on Utility Cycling Forum tips and pics. It's all bolted together, no welds. Probably overbuilt, with 1" square tubing and fairly heavy, but easy to tow.
