That is a whole lot of house! Just the two of you in there? Good luck with your sale. My wife and I are selling too.... but our home could probably fit in your living room.

Yeah, we're moving back into Manhattan, and we have a little home in the countryside in High Falls, NY. I've been shedding bikes. I brought a big pile-o-bikes to the new cöop in Newark. I'll have about two keepers in Manhattan and the other five or so in High Falls. The High Falls place has two big barns.

Yeah, too much for us. Both girls are on the west coast. Younger daughter, now in Washington State, will crash with us after her summer adventures in Europe. Then she'll establish herself in or near NYC. The older one will probably settle in San Francisco.

cool. That was this past weekend. I did the Grand Fondo last year. Couldnt make it this year, plus I'm probably not in good enough shape at the moment.

Whoa. Great pic Cobra. Love the tire marks on that apron. Those colors and shapes make the shot. Fabulous picture.

Edit: Damn. Your brother is good.

Thanks for that link.

Gorgeous Falcon cobrabyte. What's your dad running? I think some of them came out with a pretty beefy stock engine to compete with the Chevy Super Sport stuff.

Got a new job about a month ago. The place is kind of a mess but I'll get it all organized and cleaned again when there is some downtime. I've seen some nice vintage stuff come in in the first few weeks. Did a complete overhaul/restore on the Ross that is pictured, it came out wonderfully. A Raliegh Technium, a few others. I've been letting people that come in know I specialize in vintage, which is already starting to bring them back with their nicer bikes for me to look at

Threadless headsets and hydraulic disk brakes everywhere! Even some Di2, it has been a bit of a learning curve to work with all of the new stuff, but I think I've picked it up quicky. Mostly doing bike builds and service.

Thanks I agree, its a beauty. It originally had a blah faded white paint job with a rough baby blue interior, kind of a grandma car with a 6 cylinder, that has been swapped to a 302 V8. In the spirit of old school hot rodding he did all of the work on the car himself, and every modification was done using parts from swaps with other car guys or parts from the junk yard. Kind of a sleeper build

Oh man, makes me really miss mine. Had a '65 Futura 2-door hardtop in high school. Sold it when I got married 25 yrs ago to buy some furniture. The car and 289 were indestructible. The guy who bought it re-did the car and repainted from brown to two tone teal/white and added the same wheels as this one. I've put a call into him that I'm willing to buy it back if he ever wants to sell.

Congratulate your dad on an excellent job with this one.

It's been a great learning opportunity so far, and it has only been a month! All the people are work with are pretty class acts as well, it's a fun environment. I am becoming a way more proficient mechanic.

The 40-60 percent discount on bike stuff is always a plus too
