Went to National Museum of Scotland for a school trip, there were F1 cars and bikes, not so bad after all.
Jackie Stewarts' championship winning 1971 Tyrrel 003

Wheel weight held on with duct tape, high tech!

Very cool - there's another one that races the vintage circuit here in the Northwest. It's my favorite and has such a sweet sound as it passes you on the straight stretch.

Wow, cool view! I can't believe how tall and dense the city is. I wonder if you can see much of the sky at street level? In my 20's living in a place like this would probably have been my dream come true. Now at 30, I really think I would miss the room, grass and sky.

Great! I wish I had done this with my father when I was growing up. It's a bit embarrassing, but as an adult I don't even like to bait a hook.... let alone clean a fish. You seem to be a great, hands-on dad.

Now that is some serious C&V rootboy. How long did it take you to restore the old Singer. My wife would kill over that.

Thanks Wino Ryder. Well, it took way longer than I anticipated, but I won't go into details here and bore the audience to tears. Suffice it to say, the black japanning was in good condition but the clear coat was shot and so I lost the original decals. Clear coating it with a rattle can was an exasperating experience. It runs like a Swiss clock now though.
