No daily pictures to show off, but I was ran off the road by a LBS mechanic, driving a motor-vehicle. Nice.

My aunt used to drive a BMW Isetta. I remember playing in it when I was like five years old. Strange little car!

I tagged along with my LBS owner to collect a vintage Trek 950. I ended up with a Frankenbuilt Gazelle. We ran into slow moving traffic (<10mph) and decided to make a U-turn and follow some local roads. Here's a shot from the window. That's a pretty typical south Kentucky scene.

You gonna eat that?
The first time he showed up to ride with us, he was riding an ancient Schwinn with badly out-of-true rims and a playing card clipped to his fork that made noise in the spokes. He shows up with all kinds of bikes; yesterday he showed up on this:

A gorgeous 3-speed path racer, some brand I've never heard of before.
This is the rest of the cyclists gathering for yesterday's ride. We had about 4 dozen riders for the pub crawl again.

The orange Schwinn near the front left of the pic is mine.

Just got back from three days camping - sorry no bikes in the pics. My wife said if the kid's couldn't take theirs I couldn't take mine.
The Scott mtb was disappointed also.

Teanaway River:

A treat for the kids - wild huckleberries:

Everything was cool until yesterday afternoon when our friend slipped coming up the bank from the river and dislocated his kneecap. He landed on larger rocks and in a tree. Took 2.5 hrs to get him into the back of an ambulance. I was fortunate enough to locate a forest service employee who had a radio and could alert the rescue squad. Other than that it was a 16 mile drive out for cell service.

Up the first steep bank from the river - that's our priest at the rear of the board. He had great timing to be that extra person to help carry.

The large hill was quite steep - with a patient at 230 lbs it took all six of us to get him up to the ambulance.

Brisco and I went for a DoggyRide/Jeunet ride this afternoon. He finally likes his trailer, after being rolled a couple of times and chewing it to pieces once. Good dog.
