Getting back into model building for a winter hobby - this is #2 since my birthday a few weeks back. Thanks to my daughters for kick starting my interest in this again.

A hummingbird moth I photographed in September while in Telluride Colorado. They moved so fast that dozens of shots were needed and I still didn't get a perfect picture.

I'd would not consider them *****tonk... but do consider them to be on of the best bands to ever come out of the great white north.

Sadly, they went on an indefinite hiatus in 2012.

Flame

The gas company down the street has been burning off fuel for two days now.
I can't figure out why.
Rode by there again today, it felt great to be back on the bike after a spell in the 20degree F's.

did some more camping this past weekend, this time no bike, just my '94 Ford Aerostar. It may burn a lot of gas but oh, the things we do to impress the ladies...

These incredibly lovely kittens belong to a friend of mine. They are amazingly innocent and photogenic while sleeping.

Nope. I'm not that lucky to catch a big Northern Pike like this guy.

I'm the tall one in this photo.

Wow. Kittens, Hudson River cruise boats, and ski slopes. Hard to beat that stuff! (Tom, can you Carol to ride in this weather?)

Too busy to ride lately, Delivered a bike to a needy rider this AM...and put on some baskets he had...with almost no tools...Got my son off to a Handbell Concert (he played tambourine...the kids were drafted from the youth bell choir to help the adults as percussion) at Heritage Village, Pinells county, FL

Then my son and I rushed back to get to Messiah dress rehearsal for the concert tomorrow...

at Grace Lutheran Church, St Pete...3:00 if you are in the area!

Today's winter project: install dynamo headlight and tail light on my old Super Course. I even took it out for a ride late at night. They work great.
