That's hilarious, YoKev.

Waffle just came back from our walk and is waiting for me to let her in the house. It was about 2ºF with no wind. I was comfy, but she was not, mostly because of her paws. Google added the snow as some sort of goof. It was not snowing when I shot this.

Our snowy house.

One of our snowy barns.

The other snowy barn.

Have you ever seen a snowy moped, a snowy engine, and a snowy little tractor?

A jewelry store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, one of the few places in the entire world where the Yiddish language is alive. I wonder if the proprietor is a distant relative of mine.

Holla! Uh, I mean challah!

Our snowy road, at about 6ºF, with my lovely wife walking ahead.

The property across the road from us.

Waffle is warm inside now but does not like to be covered with a blanket or anything at all. She got out from under it immediately after I shot this picture.

New Year's Day, singing around the piano. The pianist is 97 years old and has an amazing touch. She can play any song she's ever heard, with lush chords under the melody.

After dropping my son off at school this morning, cruised by the waterfront and took some pics of the heavy fog. St Pete Yacht Basin

Then the sun burned the fog off, so I got in a quick 20 mile ride before the Canadian Cold Front started coming in....it was windy, but NOW it is gray, colder and windy....might have to find my jacket!

I recognize your High Falls house. The read barn right beside the road is what did it for me.

Yup. It's the only property on Mossy Brook Rd that has two barns across the road from each other. We own a shred of land across the road. We also own the space the road goes on, and the town has an easement on our property to have the road.

Bath day for Pence, the Bearded Dragon.

He loves cuddles... I need to remind my assistant to use the macro setting on the camera but this gives an idea of how big he is.

Although they are capable of delivering a really painful bite Beardies tend to be very docile and like human contact and attention, Pence has never been anything but gentle and likes his scritches.

Heh. I visited a family that had a pet named Bob the bearded dragon. It was a hot summer day, and we were eating on a picnic table. A wasp landed on the table, and that became Bob's lunch. He was quick!

Oh, is this the new Show Your Reptile thread? Here's my daughter's pet anole (aka, the American chameleon). We've only had her a few months and she is still very shy but is starting to be less timid.

Here's one from my holiday vacation (Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe).

I think it's time to provide an alternate view of winter!

When I see all that snow and ice it just makes me depressed; how about a little southern hemisphere sunshine?
