Ice sailing
I was driving by the reservoir and saw a sailboat moving rapidly across the water.
It took a couple seconds to consider 'how can that be, the water is frozen'.

Wishing for the same sort of weather. This will be the first month in about 4 years that I missed a ride. Feeling kind of pathetic so I was looking through my photobucket and came across this one I took in late September. I filtered and enhanced the shot to give it a sort of Wizard the Oz feel. Maybe I should blow it up into a poster to mount in front of my bike in the trainer?

Was doing great riding in January until 2 weeks ago when we got nailed by an inversion layer and freezing fog for over a week. Then we came out of that to some freezing rain and snow but I finally got out yesterday for a ride.
In between, though, I got a hike in last week - about an hour + going up hill and then steep downhill. Had some great ice scenery thanks to the fog:

I don't know that I'd say he sucked - I'd say the offensive line was not ready for what came at them and Peyton isn't mobile. Denver only faced 4 top 12 defenses all year before Seattle while the Seahawks faced 10 top 10 defenses during the year. I will say the look on Mannings face last night was the same one he had in the first quarter of the preseason match up back in August. Fun night for those of us in the Northwest.
