Excellent pic, good call to sketch out the build. I just buy a stupid pile of parts and work from there, no plans at all!

So, sorta forgot to get my bike ready for the first organized ride of the year, the Joop Zoetemelk classic, 100km in honour of our best TdF rider. That meant putting a bike together in under three hours. Oops.

Day before game day:

Midnight wrenching:

En route. Whoops, no steerer cover. Ah well.

everything held up fine for the next 100 km.

chuckk, I love the nature shots, most especially of the osprey. I love birds of prey. You got a great opportunity. We have a lot of red tail hawks in this area. One flew right by me the other day, but I was driving my car.

Out this way hawks are almost as common as geese

I missed a great pic Sunday. Just south of me near Shippensburg/Chambersburg area there is a large Amish community and I often see women riding their bikes. On Sunday as I came over a rise I saw a buggy with a girl pedaling behind it and I swear she was motor pacing the buggy!! it would have made a great pic esp in B&W

Nice, looks like it came out well!

I once built a dyno wheel in the car on the way to 200k overnight brevet while my wife drove. Luckily, I didn't have any issues either.
