How is that Mclean treating you?
I thought you might say that.

Both are exceptional. imho

The McLean is safe and sound. The bike is mine, but I refuse to ship it.

It's taken me six years to find one and I won't risk a shipping mishap.

It is down with its former owner safe and sound in southern Minnesota. I will likely pick it up as soon as this school year is finished.

The former owner is a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him when I first visited the bike. It will give me a little more time to relax and view his Mooney and Galmozzis when I head down in June.

He also has a beautiful Curt Goodrich and Chris Kvale to gawk at.

Plus I get to bring my fly rod and do a little casting for plump German Brown trout nearby.

In the meantime I have only ridden my road bikes 10-15 times this season, while my off road bikes get nearly the lion's share of my attention.

We are going to Moab this summer and I have been working hard on my tech on single track on my Niner.

That's a beast of a bike.

Returned to the Garfield Park Conservatory for the first time since it was nearly destroyed in a 2011 hail storm. Remarkable restoration!

Finally got out in the woods. Found some yellows and some half-frees. Thought I missed the season.

Yep, that's a windsurfer on Lake Calhoun in Mpls.

On April 5th. The ice had barely left for the season.

.....and it was really cold on that ride.

The earliest model I have seen goes back to the mid sixties and they still make this style of camper today... you can pull them behind nearly any vehicle as they only weigh around 1000 pounds at this size.

Enjoyed a bike ride, a beer on the beach and a summer beer on the pub's patio Thursday afternoon, Ascension Day, which is a holiday here in Sweden.

I thought I was being clever by locking my bike in front of the police station, but a guy was stabbed almost to death in the same spot a couple hours after I went home for the evening.

Continental C-65 (65 hp), same as the original J-3 Cub, but this plane is a lot faster. Well, in this class speed is relative!

My first non-bike, vintage vehicle!

Pano fun from the BWCA. Just down the river from our cabin.

Fishing was outrageously good this weekend.

Sitting out on the back deck reading a book in the spring sunshine, this little guy landed on me and basically hung out for about 15 minutes. He was working the hem of my shorts pretty vigorously the whole time; I must have spilled something sweet and sticky there.

Later in the day I was cleaning out part of my carport where I keep my table saw and this lizard poked his head out to see what all the commotion was.

The kit is getting to be C&V, certainly a classic. Two cymbals are both ('30s K & '50s A).
