Definitely not staged, I spent 3 hours on those roads. That picture was taken at the a spot where the road turned into a river, it was mostly dry up until then. It was much dirtier when we finally escaped the woods...

Sixty Fiver, I'd like to see some pictures of the parrots you keep. I've got a 'tiel, and plan on adding a peach faced lovebird in the next month or so.

I have a pair of Indian Ringnecks that are 9 and 5 years old and closely bonded to each other and the family and might be bringing home the Senegal parrot I have been working with as we have developed a pretty close bond as I have worked to get Toulouse to be more social with other people. Will have to take some nice pictures of Toulouse who is not quite a year old and very sweet tempered... will grab and squawk at strangers who startle him but has never showed any hostility toward me.
Also work a lot with Holmes, a Pearly Conure who we joking describe as having ADHD... loves people but did get a little cage aggressive when he was placed in a higher cage and it has taken some time for him to chill out and he started talking this week with a "hello". think his issues stem from wanting to be with people ALL the time more than anything else.
And my feathered kids... Lucce (lutino m) and Amore (powder blue f) on the day cage... the main cage is a Macaw cage.

Beautiful birds! I haven't had much contact with IRN's, but I hear they are sweet birds. I know lovebirds can get pretty territorial and nippy, the 'tiel won't be sharing a cage with him though, just a home. It's incredible to me that you find time to keep parrots and get all your other projects done. They are so time consuming, but well worth the effort.

Thanks, Kev.
Sixty Fiver, is that a blue cockatiel? Never heard of that. I had two cockatiels. Very nice. We got them (one after the other) for my ex-wife, but the second one bonded with me. In fact, the bird hated my ex. So when we were dividing the property during the divorce, she said obviously, I'd be keeping the bird.

Wild ringnecks... male and female... where the male wears the ring.

They are a bigger bird than a Cockatiel (the smallest member of the cockatoo family) and have a relatively large beak for their size... whereas a Cockatiel bite is almost amusing (they tend to be pretty gentle) a Ringneck can deliver the same bite as any medium sized parrot.

Our house always has someone around and my housemate and the birds get along famously while each of the birds also has a favourite girl (my daughters) that they like to spend time with.

Nice c+v commute to work today. My front tire is rubbing on the fender pretty bad though, so I need to do a little work at lunch.
