Just returned from two weeks in Girona Catalunya (Spain) - Been going there on business for twenty years. It's my second home.. Some Catalan culture photos
The round things are goat cheese

Yes, that's chocolate on top of that salad.

Looking down from the castle to the fortified town of Hostalric

The Cathedrals of Girona

Local wine and local bread.. "pa amb tomaquete" - rub garlic on the toasted bread, followed by rubbing and squeezing a tomato into the bread and finally olive oil.

Today's commute; I had to walk my bike across this pedestrian bridge over the interstate due to a nice layer of broken beer bottles that ran its length

You gonna eat that?
If you want to ride out there, check out Pondero blog. Chris does this once a year in December, but is open to riding with folks anytime. He lives in Bolivar, a little west of Denton.
Here is a pic Chris took of me powering up a hill.

My girlfriend and I visited Kaaterskill Falls on Christmas Eve. This iconic location has been painted and documented since at least the early 1820's, perhaps the most famous being Thomas Coles painting from the Hudson River School:

Sure thing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Some winter bike wrenching in the kitchen today:

And an old mile marker I found in Rhinebeck, "100 Miles to N.York"
