Me, nikkorod & Iluvnoise got out for about 30 miles today. When the weather god's give you 50 degrees & sunny in December, you best take it and run! (or Ride!)

Little cold at the start. Ice!

Last day of 2011, so I'll throw up one of my favorite bike pictures from the year! I took this while I was in Jinja, Uganda this summer. It was such a memorable trip.

And if you find yourself in Moab, UT, stop by Milts for some amazing post ride food. I think there were a couple of days I had two meals here!

I rode to the farmer's market this morning to buy some eggs. The lady selling prepared food was out of grits so I got some split pea soup for breakfast. Split pea soup with no ham hock? WTF, silly hippies?

I managed to pull away from year-end BS and got in a 20-mile shakedown on a new group, before I went to see TinTin.
Nice day, new arm warmers worked very well, so I stopped at this old abandoned store. All I had was my cell, but a nice day.

Snapped this setting sun behind our bikes on this beautiful and warm (76F) day. End of a short ride with my kid.

I remember that the seat was broken like that for a long time.
Classic Sears "English Racer" as well called them when we were kids.
Note the DUAL GENERATORS for a more powerful taillight!
Now Paul is a successful engineer in jet engine turbo-fan technology with several patents.

I have lunch and walk the trails at Ft. Washington State Park once or twice a week. It is about a mile or so from my office in Oreland. You missed the best month to see Hawks in October, but at 500 degrees at least it felt like early fall.

This year I am attempting a "365 project" of every commute: Seeing as I don't work 7 days a week, I will consider any bike based travel as a commute.

My father-in-law loves to buy me tools for Christmas. This year he bought me a sweet, oval Dutch oven so I broke it in with coq au vin after having some chicken livers and bourbons with a friend from out of town.

Testing to see if I can upload pics from this new to me android phone via the phone browser. Some friends drove down from more-north Wisconsin with a load of dump found bikes for me. Mostly for parts, donors, maybe one or two will sell (maybe).

I've bought my wife so many Dutch Oven's she doesnt seem to appreciate them any more. Actually, I'm not positive she ever did.
