I'm not much of a GM pickup fan but if I had the cash I'd be seriously tempted:

The cost of living is outrageous here, but I find people are mostly compensated for it. I've only been here two months or so, but I'm not suffering from the costs.

I stopped to watch some boat racing while riding today. I prefer and fly planes but anything with nitro motors is good viewing.

There all keenly waiting for a gondalar? to float past before starting the race.

I'm 20 and I'll have you know, black socks are an athlete's favorite nowadays.

Medium length and tall black Nike socks are pretty much worn by everyone who plays basketball, baseball, or football. Actually, almost every pair of socks I own are black Nikes--white socks are still happening, but black socks are worn much more often than they used to be. I don't usually look at people's socks on a daily basis, but I have noticed when I'm playing pick up games that most people are wearing black.

Hazardous air quality yesterday due to wildfire smoke - no riding. Instead I ended up changing to a modern stem on the Gitane Sprint (I'm really not a fan of the look but need a longer stem to stretch out and feel more comfortable on the bike - it's got a short top tube). In the end I also ended up changing the brakes to black Weinmann 500's and black housing from the yellow I had on it.

The yellow on your Gitane looks greats with the blue back ground. One of my favorite color combinations.
