Came around a corner to see this gem... had to stop and get a photo... my camera did not do that gorgeous bike justice!

The part that I like is the bike was much nicer than the truck carrying it and it made me think back to my earlier days of riding when everyone I knew had a much nicer bike than the car they drove. I would love to have heard it running!

I do love this thread, thank you for sharing!

Hey Robofunc, I think I see my reflection in that CCM Chainwheel! And when I'm not getting filthy working on old bike stuff, took 1st place at a local Photo Show with this piece tonight. :-) It doesn't pay the bills either!!!

Dropped Mrs. GA at the Railway Station (whose platform is also part of the bike path), and saw this detail in the floor decoration.

Where is this fabled co-op? I just stripped an old Fuji and I have no use for the old components, but someone over there might.

It is behind the St Pete Shuffleboard Courts, at the moment, we are only open on Wednesday evenings, 6-9, slowly trying to build up our membership and hours. Just north of Mirror Lake, downtown. [TABLE="class: ts intrlu, width: 100%"]

Thanks Rootboy, Robofunc and Celiacattack! Just had to resist the urge to go after it with 1000/1200/1600 grit to make it shine! ;-)

Interesting. I've heard a lot of talk about it down at the Flying Fish. I might have to stop by with my magic box o'stuff in the coming weeks.

Just not doing much, with all the rain we've been having...followed by HOT....been doing some cleaning and organizing...my last ride, earlier this week, ended up with some knucklehead T-Boning be with his MTB. He came flying around a blind corner on a narrow trail, locked up his rear brake and skidded into me. Retrued my front wheel, straightened my brake lever, but the tire valve is bent over...just waiting for it to fail. I'm bruised up, got knocked down...and the punk took off...NICE!!!!

My frame and fork were finished being powder coated today!

Gotta spend a few hours at work off the clock putting her back together.
