Odd Swchinn Request

Hey Guys,

A while back I bought an old Schwinn Suburban to get into road biking. I've since been riding a newer bike but I'll be taking my Schwinn up to school with me. There has been one thing that's been bugging me about the bike and its really not a big deal, but where the front fork attaches to the tube there is usually a schwinn "badge" for lack of a better term. My bike is missing it! The holes are on the frame, they're about 2.5 inches apart from each other vertically. So my odd request...do any of you have an extra one of these lying around that you wouldn't mind parting with? And if not, anyone know where I can get one? I know its a shot in the dark but its worth a try. Thanks!

Go to a local scrap yard, bring a small screw driver and ask if you can get one. I see old Schwinn frames come through all the time.

I might be able to help you with the badge but not the screws. Let me check my badge "stash" and I'll PM you with the results.

(I thought your Swchinn request had to do with the unusual spelling of the name)

I work in an earn a bike shop... we toss gas pipe schwinn's all the time. I'll see if there is one around.
Otherwise... just make one up.
