I have a dilemna

I'm restoring a bike of questionable c&v vintage and have a somewhat fuzzy question....some may see it as trivial and i really dont mean to start a trivil nonsense thread but.....

I'm kind of picky about my builds...everything needs to match, tires, inner tubes (ok, the stems and caps) and the cables need to match as well.

so my point is that i'm putting the NR/Sr shifter together and the plastci washers dont match. 1 of the 4 isnt as white as the others...I know, you can see them but in the back of mind just knowing ther're different may play with the psychy..

Only one solution for you. Git it right!

May I suggest counseling?:roflmao2:

Install them in the dark.

Those "Magic Eraser" melamine sponges they sell for kitchen cleaning work quite well on discolored plastic IME.

At least now I know I'm not the only one that sweats the details. Probably trauma from the time I lost points at a car show because the finish on the emblem retention nuts on the underside of the gas filler door wasn't the correct color . . . .

Rub grease on the other three.

That's the least of your problems..... your fork looks bent.

And since you're being picky - NO VALVE CAPS
They are only there to prevent puntures while the tube is folded.
Sorry - it's part of the RULES. :)

They now make a pill for that condition. But if you have a history of high blood pressure and light-headed-ness, do consult a physician first.
If continued use causes heart arrhytmia, swelling of the gonads, bad breath, and Tourettes; cease usage. If symptoms persist...

mount some Dura Ace 740x shifters.

:D

That's a bummer... it's funny the way you said it... but still a bummer.
