I'm finishing up the tweaks on my latest road bike to 650B town cruiser conversion. With the Brooks Saddle and the swept back bars, I need a wee bit more set back on my seat post to get my bum in the right spot. I've scoured the web and done searches on Flea Bay but I'm coming up with not much. A couple years ago I came up with a 26.6 seat post with a TON of set back that was perfect for my other bike...

some of the listings note offset and others don't (so I guess ya gotta just guess)

Does that look like it's any more than normal?
This is the Way Big Set Back Post I have on my other bike... would love to find this in 27.0

Extra credit question: What about going with the 26.6 set back post and a shim? Are shimming seat posts that safe? Would that be too thin a shim to be safe?

Check out the Kalloy Uno post that Wallbike sells. It has close to 30mm offset, and comes in quite a few sizes.
