Basic Bike Torque Specs

I don't know if this will be of much use here but I found a basic torque specification table on the web that I placed into a .pdf document (http://www2.bsn.com/cycling/Torques.html) - Please check it out for accuracy - It is just the basics - Last week I was having incredible difficulty finding torque specs for generic chain ring bolts and that is why I am posting this...

Could be useful! Thanks. I've wondered about some torque specs occasionally, particularly on things like crank fixing bolts. I'll have to look at that chart closely.

Jim - Please Check - I was also wondering about non-square taper crank bolts and also nuts on the cottered crank pins (or what ever you call them) - Just basic numbers that can get you in the safe zone without killing your threads...

I know there is an all inclusive chart or book out there but the ones I have seen are just to complicated for such a simple task...
