Its a Bianchi Piaggi thinks its an 80's Model
Shimano components, lugged frame
The serial # under the bottom bracket is 1124960
Does anyone have an idea about this bike?
Seat is not original...
Paid $100 for ithttp://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=214907http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=214908

the Shimano have no model numbers on the front? check the backs and see what series they are BR-xxxxxxx something.

I think what you have there is a '84 or 85 Strada in Brilliant Black.

if it is in great running condition and fits you $100 is OK. OH I just noticed the rearwheel is dark anodized what is it? it is very likely a replacement

Fork looks bent slightly, may just be picture. A straight edge will tell you. Claw derailleur hanger, stem shifters, turkey levers, steel crank = near entry level. Most likely a high ten steel frame. Date it by looking up component codes.

I didn't notice the fork, but being half way through tonight s 3 cocktail I wont comment one way or the other. I hope it is OK for 100 is should be a nice rider.

I was given almost the same bike last week in blue, mine has a really bent fork which I found a replacement for already. The build quality isn't as good as my Japan built touring bike I have and it has some really cheap components on it. Not to sure of what I want to do as far as building it yet but I am thinking of a few upgrades as I clean it up but nothing to radical since it is probably a Hi Ten frame.
