can someone identify this chainring for me

this came extra with a bike I bought, but I'm not if it's super record or something else. if there's some way to figure it out that would be great, thanks

"Super Record" would be 144mm bolt pattern. Since yours is 39 teeth, it's probably 135mm bolt pattern.

Wild-ass guess: Chorus, judging by the pattern of accumulated dirt.

you're right it's 135mm. is there some way to be sure it's for 7 or less speeds? also I'm wondering if there's actually a difference between record and chorus rings, or if it might have just come off a chorus crank.
