Rattlecanning a chrome MTB fork?
Again, on the Fisher Procaliber project below, the second frame has a replacement steel/chrome fork. I'd like to paint it a yellow to match the bike. Any advice about how to proceed?
Would I be better off powdercoating? Thanks, RFC |
Painting chrome can be a hard thing to do & make it durable with a spray can, it is recommended that the chrome be stripped off by sand blasting or glass bead blasting. I think if you were going through all the trouble to strip it you might as well get it powder coated.
