Handle bar stem size for Fuji Sagres
Just picked up a "classic" Fuji Sagres FB600039. It's in great shape and runs well. Converted it to a trail bike but still looking for a handle bar stem that tilts up rather than straight forward off the stem as the original stem does. The bike is now 200 miles away and I'm looking for a stem but I didn't measure the old stem or take it apart and look for the size stamped on it before coming home. A local bike shop has two sizes they feel will fit. Might anyone know what size stem the older Sagres bikes used? Also, considering that serial number, would anyone know her aproximate age?
